Decide on a style and size you would like. Fill out the 'Made To Order' form and submit.  Eclectic Den will contact you within  72 hours.  There is no obligation and there is no harm in seeing what is possible.

FOR STANDARD DESIGNS:

Once a decision is made to go forward;

an appointment is arranged for a meet up

to decide on fabric and finalize all other details. If additional sourcing is required timelines may be adjusted as well as pricing.

Upon contact, Eclectic Den will collect any necessary information, discuss the project, sourcing options, other details at length and, give a very rough cost estimate, time and other factors to see if the project is feasible, prior to the decision to meet.

Once the project gets the 'green light' an agreement is signed based on a firm amount, an invoice is issued and a 80% deposit is required on the total amount prior to commencing the work. The remaining 20% balance is due upon delivery and inspection of goods.

Custom work is split into stages so that each phase can be assessed properly for feasibility

and practicality. The client can control each phase, to start and stop at their own discretion.

FOR CUSTOM WORK:

Once we decide to meet up; an appointment is arranged to put your ideas on paper, see fabric choices, discuss sizing, complexities and other project details in order to determine a realistic quote and whether to proceed.

STAGE ONE: Draft & Quotes

When everything (we can think of) has been taken into consideration,Eclectic Den will begin initial stages of sourcing in order to provide realistic numbers.

 

A detailed quote summary with all the particulars will be drafted and sent to the client for review. At that time, changes in material, timelines, process, design and so on can be made until a suitable design and plan is finalized. Shipping and minor details may not be included in the quote and may have to be paid separately by the client along with other unexpected expenses.

STAGE TWO: Technicals

If all looks good and a base price is determined for the project. An agreement

is signed and an invoice is issued for a $250 deposit required to commence with the 2nd phase. A technical board is created with all the details of sewing, measurements, swatches etc and given to the client for further review.  At that time changes can be made and technicals reproduced until a suitable design with all features to the clients satisfaction is finalized. Note: $250 is part of the total project price.

STAGE THREE: Sample

Once all changes have been made to the technicals, finalized and approved. It is strongly advised that a sample be sewn up

in a comparable, similar or if possible same fabric to see how the finished product will look; and make all necessary adjustments. After stage 2 is approved, Stage 3 requires $375.00 to cover pattern construction, sewing costs, alterations, etc. which is part of the overall cost of the project.

STAGE FOUR: Production

Upon approval of the sewn sample, final pattern pieces are drafted which completes Stage 3. We are now ready for cut and production. At this point, we sign off on the production arrangements and a 80% deposit is required on the remaining balance to start production.  This will include the cost of fabrics notions, other materials stated in the quote unless otherwise decided. Client will be invoiced and a realistic timeline for project completion will be given at this stage. 

Eclectic Den endeavors to communicate all relevant information clearly to clients at each stage of the process to maintain transparency in all of its practices. However, no process is perfect and we do try to proactively solve problems as they occur.
